Connect related notes with a tap. Linked notes appear as chips above the tags bar — tap to jump, long-press to unlink. Links survive encrypted backups and full restores.

Privacy isn't a feature toggle. It's the foundation. Void Note was designed encryption-first — your notes are encrypted before they are ever written to disk.
The master encryption key lives in Android's hardware-backed Keystore. It never exists in plain memory longer than needed.
Every note title, content, and tag is encrypted individually. GCM mode provides authenticated encryption — tampered data is detected.
Your vault password is never stored. It's run through PBKDF2 to derive the encryption key. The salt is stored — the password never is.
Images and audio recordings are encrypted as .enc files in app-private storage. No unencrypted files are ever written to disk.
